In the Newspaper called Catalonia Today I red an article about Lilly Allen, a singer.

Sumary: Before have an album out, Lilly Allen uploaded her songs in myspace (a social networking site) and had benn played close to half million times. Her music is influenced by ska, reggae and calypso. qhen she did a concert in Barcelona people could see she is a rash and confident young woman.

Hairspray

This is a film of the adolescents in the 60’s more or lees, when the popular people were the most thing and the most beautiful girls and boys of the school.

The film tell the story of a fat girl who presents in a concurs of Miss Hairspray, this is a program that has the most audience of the city, in there you must to know dance and have a great voice, and of course, you must to be slim. But one day the most popular boy of the program and also the school, saw how Tracy Turnblad (the fat girl) dance and sing, for this he met her to go the program. She became famous, because it’s strange that a person how she was in this kind of programs, for this the before famous girl have jealous about Tracy. When arrives the day that the audience choose Miss Hairspray but Tracy didn’t wins, if not win a black-girl, but Amber von Tussle have a lot anger about her, and also it was discover that her mum, the director of the program did cheat, and she was seen how a very bad girl. The audience choose a black girl, but this is also estrange because in the 60’s the black class are saw how a poor class, and thanks of Tracy the black people are mix with the “normal” people.



This film is an adaptation of a musical, I like so much, it’s a typical film but in the same time it’s different. I recommended to you this film, do you like it.

Hi :)

My name is Mercè Bolasell, and I'm 16 years old. I live in Castelló d'Empúries with my parents and my dog, his name is Puc, I’ve a brother too but he’s 28, and he live in Platja d’Aro with his wife, she is Brazilian, they met when they are students in Madrid, and fell in love. My favorite sport is basketball, I love so much, I play for eight years ago... I hope that I can play more years, but not in the LEB league if not in a normal, I won’t like became famous and play with Barça, Penya or in a big club of women’s team. My favorite hobby apart of basketball its dancing, I dance in a group called “esbart de Castelló d’Empúries” with my friends, we do a dance of Catalonia and another countries, but isn’t the typical dance like sardana if not it’s different, I like it, because I dance for eleven years, maybe is so much but when I went to university I think that I will want to finish. I love watching tv, especially see films, for this my TDR, it’s based in films and genetic, this is two topics that I like it, well my TDR my work is watching films when the main charter have a genetic disease, and after discover which is this illness, for my it’s a very interesting topic and I think that I can do a good job. Well, this is all!
